Now a day mobile phone is a necessary part of the people s life. The combination of the mobile phone and the Internet service is the trend of the future information development and software applications. Research has shown the use of mobile phones is more effective in helping us when we travel to a new place and use it as a guide map. Many apps seem to reflect an approach that resembles early websites, copying hard copy versions, without taking advantage of the unique opportunities mobile applications offer. In this application, we use the Google map API to find out the distance between the user s location and the destination. Based on a review of literature the importance of the guide map application when you travelled in a new place, so this Application provides convenience for freshmen students when they want to find important locations in Nanjing. Most of them haven t been able to use applications from China because of difficulty understanding the language. Not only that, this application also provides additional features for Muslim students when they want to find a place of worship or halal restaurants. The results give tourism business an understanding on travel guide use and the visitor experience.
